You’re a college student who loves food but often cooks alone, making the same meals over and over. It feels… mundane and uninspiring.
You crave connection—someone to share ideas, learn from, and **bring back the joys of cooking**.
Thats when you discover ForkTales, the app that transforms your cooking routine into a fun, social experience!

Why we made ForkTales.
Unlike traditional food-sharing apps, ForkTales emphasizes spontaneity and connection over polished presentation. It captures everyday, imperfect moments of cooking, offering a more genuine glimpse into users' lives. The novelty lies in its ability to turn solo meal prep into a collective experience, sparking new conversations around food, and giving people a safe space to build community.
In order to create innovative platform that reimagines social interaction through cooking, we began our development process with an in-depth literary analysis of the current digital culinary landscape. This involved exploring how people engage with food-related technology and examining gaps in existing applications.
